The Aloe R adult mattress is made with a layer of latex on the surface to enhance comfort. The advantage of latex is that it's a soft, elastic material that's very comfortable. It distributes body weight evenly, providing customized support. It follows the body's natural curves, reducing pressure points and offering superior comfort.

The subsequent thickness of the foam guarantees the essential support of your mattress. The density of the foam in our Aloé R mattress is 25 kg/m². This density is an important factor to consider to ensure adequate support and comfort for your back while you sleep. 25 kg/m² density for an adult mattress will therefore offer a good balance between firmness and comfort to properly support your back and hips. This can help prevent posture problems and promote good muscle and bone rest. In summary, a density of 25 kg/m² may be suitable for an adult mattress, but make sure you also consider other important aspects such as safety (standards and certifications) and specific recommendations to offer you a safe and comfortable sleeping environment.

An eco-conscious composition

Our Aloé R adult mattress bears its name for "Recycled", among other things: all the polyester fibers originally used in the mattress have been replaced by recycled polyester fibers, because make no mistake, recycled polyester offers several advantages over virgin (or non-recycled) polyester:

• Reduced waste and pollution: By using recycled polyester, Kadolis reduces the amount of plastic waste in the environment (reusing existing materials instead of producing new raw materials)

• Conservation of resources: Recycling polyester uses fewer natural resources (such as crude oil), since recycled polyester is made from PET plastic bottles, textile waste or other existing sources of polyester.

• Smaller carbon footprint: The production of recycled polyester generally requires less energy than the production of new polyester. As a result, it helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions and mitigate the impact of climate change.

• Promotion of a circular economy: The use of recycled polyester promotes the concept of a circular economy by encouraging the reuse of materials, thereby extending their lifespan and reducing the need to produce new materials.

• Naturally flame-retardant: The big advantage of polyester, and why we chose it, is that it has naturally flame-retardant characteristics, so we don't need to add chemical treatment.

What's more, this foam-core mattress for adults is covered with a TENCEL™ and polyester cover for plush comfort. TENCEL™ is a natural material made from wood pulp. It has a naturally air-conditioning action, enabling you to sleep at the right temperature at all times.Finally, the coating of Aloe Vera (a popular plant widely used for its medicinal and cosmetic properties) on the cover ensures the mattress is extremely soft and naturally irresistible to the touch.

Reassuring certifications and standards for a chemical-free mattress

The Aloé R adult mattress is fully OEKO-TEX® certified. OEKO-TEX® certification means that the product has been tested and certified to meet certain safety and quality standards. This includes checking for the presence of harmful substances such as pesticides, heavy metals, allergenic dyes, regulated chemicals and other hazardous substances according to Standard 100, for example, which is one of the most common certifications under OEKO-TEX®.OEKO-TEX® certification also guarantees that the product complies with ecological criteria, including limiting the use of certain environmentally harmful chemicals.

A fully removable mattress, ultra-practical! The fact that our Aloé R adult mattress is fully removable from the cover offers many advantages, especially for you parents!

• Ease of cleaning: A removable mattress cover makes it easy to remove and wash in the event of accidents, perspiration or any other incident. This makes it easier to keep the mattress clean and hygienic. The cover is simply machine-washed at 30 degrees maximum, with a spin speed of 500 rpm. However, we don't recommend tumble-drying the cover at all, but rather letting it air-dry.

• Durability and longevity: Removing the cover prolongs the life of the mattress. By washing the cover regularly, you can prevent the build-up of dirt, dust mites and bacteria that could otherwise impair the quality of the mattress.

However, the mattress cover does not prevent you from using and protecting your mattress with a waterproof mattress protector and fitted sheet adapted to the mattress size 140x190cm, 140x200cm, 160x200cm or 180x200cm. Good to know: the Aloé R adult mattress is delivered vacuum-rolled, so remember to unpack it on receipt and wait 4 to 6 hours before using it.

Scandinavian style box spring with wood base

The choice of a good box spring is essential to benefit from all the qualities of a mattress

This box spring consists of a wooden base (perforated chipboard) which guarantees excellent support for your mattress, and a breathable 3D mesh fabric on which the mattress rests.

The combination of a breathable fabric and a perforated wooden base optimises air circulation between the mattress and the base, naturally limiting the proliferation of dust mites and bacteria.

The bed base is covered with a grey fabric on the sides which will fit perfectly into any modern interior.

Waterproof matress protector - Organic Cotton - Adult

Protect your mattress with an adult Organic Cotton mattress protector.

Our breathable Organic Cotton sheet for a double bed provides ideal protection while limiting excessive perspiration.

Thanks to its waterproof protection made of polyurethane and not polyvinyl chloride (PVC), this adult sheet is completely waterproof but lets air circulate while reducing perspiration for a more pleasant and healthy sleep.

By using an Organic Cotton sheet without PVC you protect your mattress against perspiration rings and ensure a longer lifespan for your mattress.
