An evolving cot from newborn to around 6 years old

A crib bed is generally suitable for infants and toddlers up to around 2-3 years, depending on the child's growth and sleeping needs. With this 70x140cm cot bed, you don't need to buy several cots to keep the same one for 6 years, and can simply replace one of the cot's slatted sides with two mini rails that transform it into a bench, from around 3 years onwards.

When your child is ready, simply remove one of the Turia Evolutif bed's slatted sides to open the bed and allow your child to get in and out of the bed safely and independently.
What's more, the legs can also be removed to allow the bed to be placed safely on the floor.

The remaining mini-rails on the side provide reassurance and, above all, safety for your child. Your child will be able to settle in easily and sleep peacefully. What's more, the rounded corners of the mini rails provide a safe space for your child to avoid bumping into or injuring himself.

The open bed will also give your child another purpose, thanks to its bench-style design: it will give him or her a good time reading or playing on the bed.

Standards for your baby's safety

- High position: The highest mattress position is used from birth and during the first few months, when baby is very small. Usually, this position is used until the baby begins to roll over on his own or lift himself up on his arms, signs that it might be time to lower the mattress. This height is convenient for parents, as it makes it easy to drop off and pick up the baby without having to bend over too far.

- Medium position: Once the baby starts to become more active and dynamic, rolling over or trying to stand up, it's advisable to lower the mattress to this medium position to avoid any risk of falling when the baby is able to sit up or stand up by holding on to the bed's bars.

- Low position: When baby becomes more mobile, starts to stand up on his own, or reaches a size where he might try to climb out of the crib, it's time to place the mattress in the lowest position to ensure his safety. This will prevent the baby from climbing over the bed.

These indications are general and may vary according to the specific development of each child.
