    You have the impression that at nightfall your child is more and more excited. Indeed, most babies are more excited at night. The closer it is to bedtime, the more excited he gets, the more stressed you are, and the only thing on your mind is: my child will never sleep!...

    Stop! Here are a few tips that will help children (and parents) have a zen evening!

    Ideally, if you have the opportunity, you should encourage outdoor activities: cycling, ballooning, hide-and-seek in the garden, and then when you get home, orient your child towards a quiet activity such as drawing or reading. But above all, avoid television (which is so practical while preparing dinner!), in front of which children are totally passive and must release their energy as soon as the off button is turned...

    Try to create a soothing atmosphere in the house , i.e. a calm atmosphere, without stress, without shouting, even if it is not always easy after a day’s work and with several children, it is worth trying, you will see that everyone wins! Play soft music, diffuse soothing essential oils and drink a calming herbal tea (some are also suitable for children!)

    Spot the first signs of tiredness: he’s yawning, his eyes are red, he’s taking his baby comforter, it’s time to go to bed! There’s no point in waiting just because it’s not quite time, then it’ll be too late!

    Don’t forget the famous bedtime ritual : cuddle, story, kisses, kisses to cuddly toys, and there you have it, baby is ready for a good night’s sleep!
