The rubber band is much too small. You have to fold the mattress in half to get the mattress cover on and even then it creaks. I'm going to return the one I didn't wash. I've taken the size that corresponds to the mattress.

I find it a little too noisy for my taste, especially when you have to leave the crib discreetly. Moreover, to sleep on it regularly with my 6 month old son I find it makes me sweat. I haven't had the opportunity to test the waterproof protective side yet, I hope it will do the job otherwise I would be a little disappointed with this purchase.
