Natural latex at Kadolis

Natural Latex is made from the sap of the Hevea tree, harvested in certified farms in Thailand and then transformed into natural Latex blocks in Spain.

Kadolis uses natural latex for mattresses with a natural core. On our mattresses, Latex provides comfort and suppleness, relieving pressure points on the body and offering enveloping comfort. Our Latex blocks are perforated, making mattresses more breathable.

Latex has anti-bacterial and anti-dust mite properties (Pasteur Institute tests), so we don't use any chemical anti-dust mite treatments on our natural Latex.

Coconut fiber, a durable and natural support

The coconut fiber is a totally natural material resulting from the transformation of the coconut shell. The harvest is manual.

It is used in the manufacture of our mattresses for its breathable properties that facilitate the evacuation of moisture and its natural anti-bacterial and anti-mite qualities. Our coir fiber is steam sterilized and does not receive any chemical treatment.

The coir fiber is firm and dense, ultra resistant and ensures a good longevity of the mattress. The good air circulation between the coir fibers ensures an optimal ventilation of the mattress and allows to limit the perspiration during the sleep

Tencel mattress cover, better for sleeping

Tencel™ is a textile fiber derived from Eucalyptus wood fiber. Eucalyptus is a very fast growing tree that does not require artificial irrigation.

During the entire fiber treatment process, no toxic vapors are released, and the resulting Tencel™ fiber does not require bleaching.

The Tencel™ manufacturing process has received a European Environmental Award. Tencel™ is also completely biodegradable. The Tencel™ fiber is ultra soft, especially suitable for sensitive skin.

Tencel™ has naturally air-conditioning properties, so the fabric feels cool in summer and warm in winter.

The COCOLATEX® baby mattress becomes COCOLEGEND®.

After more than 17 years on the market, our COCOLATEX® baby mattress, which has given thousands of children a peaceful night's sleep, is changing its name to COCOLEGEND®. This new name celebrates the reputation and heritage of this mattress, which has become a true benchmark. We've chosen to preserve its 100% natural core, made from coconut fibre and natural latex, while giving it a modernised design and even greater comfort.

A more natural, healthier playpen mattress

A playpen mattress with removable covers and no added chemical treatments

This playpen mattress is fully removable and its cover is machine washable (delicate cycle 30° max, spin 500 rpm, no tumble dryer), so you can offer your baby a clean and healthy play area day after day.

This cover is made from TENCEL™, an ultra-breathable and thermo-regulating fibre that keeps children at the ideal temperature without causing excessive sweating.

This mattress is guaranteed to have no added chemical treatments and is OEKO-TEX® certified.

Composition

Interior:

- 1.5 cm of natural Latex to add "Flex" and comfort to the Coco layer (latex density 90kg/m3) and which corresponds to 43% of the mattress core.

- 2 cm of Coconut Fibre for firm support, optimal air circulation and anti-allergy properties. 100% natural Coconut fibre (density 48kg/m3), which makes up 57% of the mattress core

- A 100% cotton voile (weight 250 gr/m2), which cannot be removed, protects the inside of the mattress.

Outside :

- Cover fabric (ticking): made from 40% Polyester + 60% TENCEL™, a natural material made from wood pulp.

- Cover filling (ticking): 100% recycled polyester.

This playpen mattress is really good. Our 2 month old baby is comfortable on it and doesn't hesitate to take a nap. We put his play mat on top of it during his active periods. I just wish we could custom order it because our playpen measures 95×90.

Comfortable mattress - smell when unpacked.

I received my 95x75cm playpen mattress less than a week after ordering.
Before I received it, I asked the customer service about the need to let the mattress air out for a few days, to which I was told (very quickly) that it could be used immediately. When I unpacked it, the mattress smelled strongly of plastic, probably due to the protection it had been given during delivery. So I preferred to wash the ticking before using it. The mattress seems very comfortable and of good quality.
